This role is for a Forklift Operator to join the Team in the Cantonment, FL area, responsible for operating forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve supplies and materials.

Requirements

High school or equivalent
Must pass Turner Qualification written and practical exams
Able to strap load to forks via ratchet strap or similar device
Must have a valid driver's license
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace
Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
Job site safety requirements (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)

Nice To Haves

One (1) to three (3) years of experience in specified skill
Some job sites may require further NCCER certification

Responsibilities

Operating forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve supplies and materials.
Moves hand and foot levers to control diesel, electric, or gasoline operating equipment.
Interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed.
Reads and interprets load charts.
May be required to manipulate equipment on unleveled working surfaces.
May perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines/equipment.
Maintains a clean and safe work area.
