Shelbyville Shipping - Forklift Opr PR04 - FT (1st Shift)
About The Position
This position is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, moving pallets of product in a timely manner to and from a loading dock, and cleaning work areas and equipment regularly. The role also involves recording important information associated with trailers, such as date, trailer number, and order number, and performing other tasks assigned by management. The work environment is cold (35° to 40°) and wet, requiring appropriate foot, eye, and ear protection. Occasional lifting over 45lbs may be necessary, and the role may require long periods of standing. Some tasks involve repetitive motion, utilizing hand and wrist motions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months documented Forklift driving experience.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- 1 Year or more years of documented Forklift driving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading trailers.
- Removing pallets of product from one place to the next in a timely manner to and from a loading dock.
- Cleaning work area and equipment regularly.
- Record important information associated with the trailer such as date, trailer number, order number etc.
- Any other tasks assigned by management.
