About The Position

Acme Brick Company, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to load and unload products to/from delivery. The ideal candidate should be flexible and provide strong, reliable support to company operations by maintaining procedures, communication, and customer service. This role is crucial for achieving organizational efficiency and nurturing a pleasant work environment. Acme Brick Company is a professional organization in the manufacturing and building material distribution industry, manufacturing and distributing its own brick as well as products from others across 13 states.

Requirements

• 3+ months of related experience
• Certification in forklift operation
• Must be able to quickly identify materials
• Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds regularly
• Must be able to pass Hazmat exam
• Integrity
• Self-Motivated
• Teamwork
• Demonstrated prioritization / time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; OR one to three months related experience AND/OR training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move material and product while following all company Safety & Security policies and procedures
• Perform cycle counts
• Provide customer assistance
• Maintain the brick yard and warehouse
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs
