About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role combines equipment operation—which may account for 30–90% of the work depending on production peaks—with material handling and loading and unloading duties. Operators load and unload shipments, move and stage products, and may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The scheduled shift is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pay is $20.50 plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Requirements

• At least six months of forklift operation experience.
• At least six months of experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required; safe and efficient operation of a stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck is required for this position.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience with other material handling equipment, such as an Order (Cherry) Picker, sit-down forklift, clamp forklift, or electric pallet jack, is a plus.
• Experience operating a stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck is given first preference.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Keep records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as needed.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
