About The Position

POSITION: Forklift Operator Hanes Geo Components Branch 8660 JOB DESCRIPTION REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS: Must be familiar and comply with company policies to all employees reporting to him/her Must be detail oriented Able to operate warehouse equipment Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others Good communication skills (verbal & written) Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions Adaptable, flexible, and maintain effectiveness during change/transition PRIMARY DUTIES: The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following: All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions. Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures. Read and follow instructions on converting orders. Perform routine operations on machine (load, set-up, doff) - make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards. Production reporting to be neat and accurate. Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds. Maintain a clean and orderly workplace. Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
