About The Position

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating, adjusting, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality packaging operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with conversion for high performers after approximately 3 months.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating a Forklift in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to use an RF scanner.
• Ability to communicate verbally and written in English.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and consistent attendance are essential.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supply all the necessary materials (Raw Product Vegetables, Corrugated Cases, Roll Wrap Stock, etc.) for the completion of the daily production schedule.
• Safely operate an electrically powered, sit-down style truck.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Meet established performance, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment issues.
