About The Position

Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Fort Pierce, FL, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. This is a fast-paced position which offers long-term, consistent employment with a competitive benefits package. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift within the plant, navigating tight spaces, moving pallets, and working both indoors and outdoors. Responsibilities include unloading trailers, organizing products, supplying the grading line, loading and unloading products onto trailers, and transporting drums. The position also requires keeping track of inventory and adhering to food safety regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Forklift and Pallet Jack certification.

Nice To Haves

Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate a sit-down forklift within the plant, navigating tight spaces, moving pallets, and working both indoors and outdoors.
Unload trailers with fruit bins upon arrival.
Organize products in the east lot for easy identification and processing.
Supply bins, tri-walls, or boxes of fruit to the grading line for extraction.
Load and unload products onto trailers for vendor pick-up.
Transport both empty and full drums to the conveyor at the drum fill station.
Move drums to the conveyor at the drum chopper station.
Provide additional forklift services to various departments as required.
Keep track of inventory, including bins, tri-walls, and loads on-site.
Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.
