About The Position
Penguin Random House is the premier provider of distribution services in the publishing industry. Our state-of-the-art national fulfillment center, located in Crawfordsville Indiana, is seeking quality workers ready and available to work an agreed upon work schedule. It is only with a dedicated staff we are able to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations by picking, packing and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers around the world.
Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain good overall safety and attendance record.
- Work well in a team-orientated environment.
Responsibilities
- Movement of stock through the warehouse using various stand-up powered industrial equipment.
- Handling full carton stock to fill customer orders or replenish inventory.
- Moving full pallet inventory to and from specified areas.
- Must adhere to all established safety and precaution measures.
- Must be flexible and cross-trained in other areas to assist with work in other departments based on business needs.
