About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at its South Windsor, Connecticut service center. The role involves safely moving different types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. The operator works on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock and operates a forklift. The position pays $24.95 per hour and offers one week of vacation after 90 days of employment. The schedule is Monday through Friday on various shifts.

Requirements

• Forklift experience, including experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
