We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator with tractor trailer loading experience to help keep our Locust Grove scrap metal yard running safely and efficiently. In this role, you will handle a wide variety of metal materials and play a key part in our yard operations. Requirements

At least 3 years of forklift operating experience
Proven experience loading and unloading tractor trailers with a forklift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong safety mindset
Solid communication skills
A track record of reliability, punctuality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior work in a scrap yard, warehouse, or industrial environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and related equipment to safely load and unload trucks, including tractor trailers, with ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Move, stack, and organize metal materials throughout the yard to keep traffic flowing and work areas clear.
Assist with sorting, processing, and general labor tasks to support daily yard production needs.
Work safely and efficiently in outdoor conditions year-round, following all site and safety procedures.
Complete daily equipment inspections, report maintenance needs, and help keep the yard clean and orderly.
