About The Position
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of the Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking forklift operators for multiple 2nd shift positions. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and a full benefits package. The normal hours are 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday, and the 2nd shift includes a $1.50 per hour shift differential. The role involves driving an industrial forklift to move, stack, and manage products, equipment, and materials.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience
- High School diploma or GED preferred

- Lumber experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
- Keeps record of inventory.
