About The Position

Join Aaron’s team as a Forklift Operator and help ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations. The role involves transporting and organizing merchandise with powered industrial trucks (PITs), supporting incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Operators follow company and OSHA safety requirements and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment that may include varying indoor and outdoor temperatures.

The position requires frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and pushing or pulling; constant sitting and fine hand and wrist manipulation to operate steering and controls; and occasional walking and standing. The operator must be able to lift up to 40 pounds independently and heavier weights with assistance.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently and heavier weights with assistance.
• Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and pushing or pulling; constant sitting and fine hand and wrist manipulation; and occasional walking and standing.
• Comfort working in varying warehouse temperatures, including indoor and outdoor environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency operating powered industrial trucks (PITs), with 2 or more years of experience.
• OSHA or employee certification for PIT operation.
• Safe, verifiable operating history.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial trucks, including counterbalance forklifts and order pickers, to transport and organize merchandise.
• Unload incoming stock, pick orders, and load outbound trucks to meet store needs.
• Perform daily PIT inspections and comply with OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Operate RF scanners as directed by supervisors.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed.
• Follow company safety rules and participate in required training programs.
