About The Position
Elk Grove Power Sports is seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator/Yard staff member to join our team in Elk Grove, CA. This role involves safely operating forklifts to move materials and products efficiently within our facility, ensuring smooth workflow and timely operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklift operation, strong attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Inspect forklifts and equipment before use to ensure safety and functionality
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory management by accurately moving stock and reporting discrepancies
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies at all times
- Clean and deliver customer units
