Requirements

Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule.
Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
Able to stay focused in a loud working environment.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time.
Demonstrates experience with loading trailers.
Must pass Forklift training and receive certification.
Demonstrates safe forklift and electric walking pallet jack operations.
Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to stoop, kneel or bend; must be able to talk and hear and expected to stand for at least eight hours a day.
Employee must lift up to 55 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if limit is exceeded.
Must be able to work in a food allergens environment.

Responsibilities

Properly counts finished product cases from production.
Packages finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
Conduct cycle counts to ensure materials are available for production.
Stages finished product for loading.
Loads finished product onto truck.
Unloads raw materials from truck.
Drives box truck to shipping freezer and unloads finished product and returns box truck to dry warehouse for reloading process.
Receives inbound raw materials.
Moves raw materials to warehouse storage.
Responsible for quality control; no damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Safely operates forklift.
Completes daily logs.
Communicates with operators from other shifts.
Cleans and maintains work area.
Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use.
Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
