About The Position

Superior Beverage Group is a family-owned and operated company founded in 1922. Forklift Operators help unload incoming products, restock the picking floor, and perform other required tasks in a fast-paced, physical warehouse environment supporting beer and wine customers across Northeastern and Central Ohio. The warehouse is temperature controlled, and the team works together to maintain a clean, safe, and productive facility. The position is full time in Columbus, Ohio, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 5:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., or 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The stated pay is $18.00 per hour. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliability and dependability.
Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds.
Basic math skills.
Ability to understand labels and coded dates.
Ability to use technology at a basic level.

Nice To Haves

Experience in material handling and operating equipment, including forklifts.

Responsibilities

Follow proper safety and quality standards.
Unload products and place them accurately in the warehouse based on code dates and locations.
Enter accurate inventory quantities, dates, and locations into the system using an iPad.
Verify the accuracy of paperwork and counts.
Load trucks accurately for the delivery team and customers.
Put away returned cases of beer and wine.
Problem-solve as needed.
Work with the warehouse team to maintain a clean and presentable facility.
