About The Position

This role involves operating heavy equipment such as loaders, forklifts, and winches to facilitate the loading, unloading, and transportation of tanks and materials. The position requires moving materials between various locations including trucks, storage areas, and inspection/repair stations. A key aspect of the job is maintaining organized storage racks and yard areas, supporting overall tank yard operations, and assisting with general upkeep and pipe movement. The operator will also be responsible for monitoring equipment performance and reporting any maintenance needs. Adherence to company policies, safety standards, and environmental procedures is mandatory.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment or machinery preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including exposure to dust, fumes, and temperature changes.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, bending, reaching, and working on uneven surfaces
• Commitment to safety, including proper use of PPE at all times
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, forklifts, winches, and other equipment to load, unload, and transport tanks and materials
• Move materials between trucks, storage areas, and inspection/repair stations
• Maintain organized storage racks and yard areas under leadership direction
• Support tank yard operations, including assisting with pipe movement, and general upkeep
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or repair needs
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and environmental procedures
• Assist with inventory control, including tallying and tracking pipe materials
• Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals
• Participate in required safety and equipment training programs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned
