About The Position

The Forklift Operator is a key player playing a vital part in the loading, unloading and movement of inventory utilizing fork-lift/pallet jack machinery, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and support the production requirements for assigned location. Requirements

• Ability to work in a warehouse fast-paced environment, with a winning set of communication skills.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours depending on the daily work volume.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more, reaching & bending when offloading and separating shipments.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Professional Sports Leagues and Teams is a plus.
• Average knowledge in reading and understanding bar codes on boxes utilizing RF scanning equipment (preferred).
• Previous experience working in a warehouse manufacturing environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ability to operate and manage technical equipment like the Forklift/Pallet Jack.
• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse gear.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Securing loads to the Forklift machine before transporting.
• Identify workplace safety hazards & adhering to safety management standards.
• Pull or place cartons on the racks.
• Perform inventory counts accurately.
