About The Position
Unloads raw materials from trailers and ensuring products received are put into inventory and put away in proper location.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Must have good reading, writing and math skills.
- Forklift certified by Ventura Foods.
- Able to physically perform tasks required of position.
Responsibilities
- Operate either a sitdown and/or standup forklift in an efficient manner.
- Unload trailers (in-bound trucks) and locate in appropriate area(s) within facility.
- Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the handling of shipments.
- Support production lines by supplying them with necessary packaging.
- Ensure FIFO is followed.
- Follow locator system policies.
- Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls and safety programs.
