About The Position
Paisley Farm, part of The Fremont Company, is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for its Willoughby, Ohio team. The operator keeps production moving by supplying production lines with materials, moving finished products into storage, and preparing and loading shipments. The role requires safe, efficient forklift operation and adherence to food safety and workplace safety rules. The schedule is a day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Requirements
- Prior forklift experience is required.
- Maintain a safety-first mindset.
- Be reliable and present on the floor as scheduled.
- Stay focused and steady in a fast-paced environment.
- Have attention to detail and basic math skills for counts and paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials, glass, caps, and packaging to production lines.
- Remove finished product from the line and store, stack, and organize it.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Stage outgoing orders so shipments leave accurately and on time.
- Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report anything unusual.
- Assist with inventory counts and keep the warehouse audit-ready.
- Follow food safety and workplace safety rules.
