About The Position

Ocean Spray is seeking Forklift Operators for their Middleboro facility. This is a year-round, full-time position operating on a 12-hour rotating shift from 6 PM to 6 AM, with rotating weekends off. The role involves indoor work and focuses on the operation of forklifts for handling raw materials and finished goods, potentially including sanitation of food storage containers and general housekeeping. Requirements

Forklift certified.
Prior forklift operation experience required.
Ability to transfer on/off forklift multiple times during shift.
Ability to use RF scanner to track/record material movement.
Basic Computer skills.

Responsibilities

Proficiently perform duties associated with the operation of forklifts.
Handle materials, raw, packaging, and finished goods either by hand or with material handling equipment.
May perform quality and sensory tests involved in production of products.
Maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records as required.
Load and/or unload trucks of materials, concentrates, etc. and perform other related duties as necessary.
Clean areas to encompass all general cleaning as well as sanitation events for production equipment.
Have operational and working knowledge of all equipment as required to perform sanitation functions.
Have knowledge of all sanitation chemicals and their application.
Track/record quality/production events in appropriate system (e.g. Redzone).
