About The Position
A successful candidate will be able to learn quickly, obtain knowledge to create soil loads, and understand the processes in place when creating soil for production.
Requirements
- Forklift experience
- Familiar with/Operator of Heavy Equipment
- General Microsoft skills
- Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required.
- Candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends as business needs arise and during peak seasons.
- Employee must have the ability to lift 35 pounds unaided and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating Heavy Equipment
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft platform
- PLC touchscreen operation
Responsibilities
- Assisting crew leader on completing soil loads needed for production.
- Operating cranes for filling up fertilizer hoppers.
- Collecting soil samples for the lab.
- Learning how to operate control panels for recipe input.
- Check equipment associated with soil production.
- Clean out shavers and hoppers on a regular basis
- Other duties as assigned by management
