Forklift Operator
About The Position
The Material Handler is primarily responsible for the picking of supplies to be used by the Assemblers in building larger components and finished fans, transporting components to the appropriate Assembler or assembly area, completing related paperwork, housekeeping tasks, in addition to performing a wide range of other tasks, as assigned. This position unloads inbound trucks, puts away finished products into inventory locations, takes the trash outside to the dumpster and assists in physical inventory counting and correction activities. This position is also responsible for loading outbound trucks, retrieval of packaged and/or palletized finished goods and component parts from production, staging and preparation of those items for shipping, loading trailers and containers, maintaining proper paperwork.
