About The Position

The Forklift Operator operates industrial forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment to move products between storage areas and the loading dock. The role includes lowering reserve stock to pick-level slots and placing received stock into higher-level storage, using safe operating practices. The position is scheduled for a day shift: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The operator transports pallet loads from the dock to designated warehouse slots, replenishes pick slots, performs equipment and safety checks, records product, equipment, and warehouse damage, and keeps aisles clean. The role supports warehouse operations and relies on integrity, reliability, and collaborative service.

Requirements

Be able to read and write legibly.
Have basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Be able to understand Voxware commands.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Job-related Material Handling Equipment certification.
Prior selector and/or forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Transport pallet loads from the dock to the correct warehouse slots using powered industrial equipment, securing pallets in designated slots to help prevent damage or injury.
Replenish pick slots with products from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night-shift selection.
Operate forklifts or high-lift equipment to move stock between reserve, pick-level, and higher-level storage slots.
Perform operations and safety checks, including checks of the battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
Record product, equipment, and warehouse damage.
Maintain clean aisles by removing debris from floors and racks.
