Forklift Operator (Cherry, Sit Down, Stand Up)
About The Position
The Forklift Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or unloading/loading duties in addition to his or her own. This role involves fulfilling orders by picking, packing, and shipping products, operating pallet jacks, Cherry pickers and other heavy equipment for moving merchandise. The operator will also perform heavy lifting tasks, assist the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining inventory control and organizing warehouse space, and utilize the Warehouse Management System for tracking and managing inventory. Demonstrating mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is also part of the role.
Requirements
- Experience on Cherry Picker
- Experience on EPJ
- Experience on Standup reach
- Experience on Bendi
- Experience on Sit-down forklift
- Recent operator experience (within the past 6 months)
- A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
- Prior experience in order fulfillment and warehouse operations is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of inventory control practices is a plus
