About The Position

This role involves leading, mentoring, and training Tier 1 Forklift Operators. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trailers, operating forklift equipment safely, inspecting inventory, stacking, storing, and picking inventory, using RF scanners, auditing paperwork, preparing pallets for shipment, performing forklift inspections, supporting inventory audits, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position requires adherence to all company, customer, and safety guidelines, and support for daily warehouse operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train Tier 1 Forklift Operators
• Load and unload trailers according to customer specifications
• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect inbound and outbound inventory for accuracy and quality
• Stack, store, and pick inventory (including mixed pallets)
• Use RF scanners and follow scanner processes
• Audit paperwork to ensure packing lists match shipments
• Assist with workflow planning, task delegation, and performance monitoring
• Prepare pallets for shipment (wrapping, banding, etc.)
• Perform forklift inspections and ensure proper equipment maintenance
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Adhere to all company, customer, and safety guidelines
• Step in as needed to support daily warehouse operations
