We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator!

Requirements

  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator with a strong safety record.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Operating battery and propane-powered lift trucks to pick up and transport raw materials, work in process, or finished product to and from designated storage areas or production work centers.
  • Performing material handling assignments in punch press, roll forming, painting, valley, warehouse, storage, shipping and receiving areas.
  • Moving aluminum, steel and copper coils from designated storage area to work centers and to storage area.
  • Removal of scrap bins, weighting and recording scrap weights, cardboard, and wooden pallets.
  • Detecting and reporting faulty operation of equipment and reporting findings to supervisor.
  • Providing for normal operating maintenance of equipment used and keeping it in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Following established policies, practices, and procedures to ensure product quality, continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Any additional responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership.
