About The Position

This role is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, stacking, and staging product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other powered industrial equipment. The operator will use handheld scanners for various functions and maintain equipment and materials. Daily inspections and minor maintenance of equipment are required, along with operating all equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years forklift and warehouse experience.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Able to follow instructions given for daily tasks.
Considerate and respectful to coworkers.
Good math, language, and reading skills.
Basic computer skills may be required.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other powered industrial equipment.
Use handheld scanners for picking, receiving, put-a-way, and load functions.
Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment on a daily basis.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Unload and load product correctly using the appropriate handling and safety techniques.
Segregate, label, check and stage inbound or outbound product correctly.
Sign/Date, and completely fill out all required paperwork for each load.
Enter any required data point in handheld device(s).
Follow safety policies and work instructions.
Assist in physical/cycle counts.
Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
Identify damages, and report overages/shortages or quality deficiencies.
Perform any additional tasks given by Supervisor.
