About The Position
D&G Transportation, a family-owned national LTL carrier, is seeking a full-time forklift operator for its Cross-Dock facility in Germantown, Wisconsin. This non-exempt position pays $18 or more per hour, negotiable based on experience. The scheduled hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM; Thursday, 12:00 PM–12:00 AM; and Friday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.
Requirements
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- High regard for food safety and related policies.
- Reliability and readiness to start shifts at the designated time.
- Unwavering attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move products in and out of trucks and storage racks in ambient, cooler, and freezer temperatures.
- Understand and follow Bills of Lading.
- Accurately record and report pallet locations.
- Help maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
