About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse and loading dock areas. This role ensures safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods to support daily logistics operations. Requirements

• Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between the dock, staging, and storage areas
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition
• Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity and proper weight distribution
• Accurately scan and track inventory movements using RF scanners or manual systems
• Ensure materials are properly staged and stored according to operational requirements
• Follow all safety standards, operating procedures, and company policies
