About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock and products within a warehouse environment. The role includes case picking and moving products with powered equipment, as well as loading and unloading shipments of various sizes using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The workplace is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. Operators use forklifts or other power equipment for 80% of the specified shift and help keep products moving through the facility accurately and safely.

The position is scheduled for the 1B Weekend Day shift, Friday through Sunday, from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.75 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience operating a Crown stand-up forklift.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience using an RF scanner.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate inventory accuracy records and reports.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
