The role of the Operator is responsible for identifying and communicating food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel. They will perform duties as assigned by Production Supervisor and/or other management personnel, and follow and review all standard operating procedures, recommending revisions for improvements. The Operator will ensure all quality specifications associated with products are met, prepare reports of production and safety incidents for review, and participate in safety meetings. They must comply with all safety/security policies and report (and stop) any unsafe conditions or acts. The role involves following procedures dictated by the Floor Traveler for each product and instructing subordinate staff and/or temporary employees on job-specific tasks. Other responsibilities may be assigned by management.
