About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for transporting all finished goods from the assembly line to the warehouse. This role involves transporting packaged ice from the bagging room and stacking it in the warehouse after bundling into pallets. The operator will also audit inventory to ensure accurate loading/unloading of stock, assist in the bagging room to keep operations running smoothly, and clean the maintenance area to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies. Additionally, the role requires displaying and supporting safe dock practices and implementing them in conjunction with drivers. The operator must demonstrate commitment to Arctic Glacier’s Management Systems, including Quality/Food Safety, Environment Health, Safety and Health, and the Leadership Principles.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must hold and maintain certificate to operate a forklift is required.
• 1 Years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Able to demonstrate the commitment to Arctic Glacier’s Management Systems: Quality/Food Safety, Environment Health, Safety and Health, and the Leadership Principles utilized by Arctic for managing and improvement.
• Other duties may be assigned.
