About The Position

We're looking to add a Forklift Operator to our 2nd shift team at Quanex in Cambridge, Oh. The primary function of the Forklift Operator is to keep the material stocked for production lines and move the material to designated locations. The hourly wage for this position is $19.70 per hour + $1/hr. shift differential. 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm. Requirements

Meets production standards
Can follow written/verbal instructions
Ability to read and understand job order
Knowledge of how to produce and use material identification labels
Ability to stack material properly
Compliance with all SOX/ISO requirements
Compliance with general plant policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Keep the material stocked for production lines
Move the material to designated locations
Enter all information into applicable systems (paperwork, computer, and scanner)
Communicate with production operators, supervisors and other Material handlers
Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
