Under the direction of the supervisor, this person is responsible for the inventory of all packaging supplies (including cycle counting). The operator is responsible for transferring supplies from the warehouse into and out of consumption areas. This person will also operate equipment and provide relief for positions in Skillets. The role involves delivering and verifying needed raw/pack supplies daily, performing daily cycle counts and periodic raw/pack inventories, and accurately reporting inventory transactions in Kraft’s Warehouse Management System (SAP). The operator will interact with Assets and Quality personnel regarding packaging changes and holds, and with the receiving department for incoming and outgoing supplies. This position requires the ability to learn and execute strict inventory control procedures and operate under Kraft Heinz Safety Values, adhering to all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and compliance programs to work toward an injury-free environment. Responsibilities also include relieving line operators as needed, removing and disposing of trash from the production area, assisting in size and product changeovers, and assisting in sanitation as needed. The role requires adherence to all GMPs and safety policies such as Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and compliance with safety policy, accident prevention, and compliance programs. Cross-training on other jobs in the department is expected. The individual must be self-motivated, able to work in a team environment, and possess good communication skills. They are responsible for reviewing work areas for potential losses and loss control opportunities and for reporting hazards, injuries/illnesses, and other losses to supervisors.
