About The Position

We are hiring a Forklift Operator for our Northeast Houston client. We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately. This is a contract-to-hire position with a pay rate of $18.00–$19.00 per hour. The working hours are from 7:00 AM to approximately 5:00 PM, up to six days per week, and overtime is required.

Requirements

• Previous sit-down forklift experience is required.
• Must be able to work overtime and up to six days per week.
• Steel-toe footwear is required.

Nice To Haves

• Pipe, valves, and fittings experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to safely load, unload, and move long, heavy, or irregularly shaped pipe, valves, and fittings without damaging the material.
• Accurately pull and stage orders using pick tickets, ensuring the correct sizes, schedules, and pressure ratings are selected.
• Conduct cycle counts of pipe lengths, valves, and fittings using RF scanners and warehouse management software.
