About The Position
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of the Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefit package. The role involves operating a forklift to unload trucks, place product into the warehouse, load for production, move product around the warehouse, and load trucks for customer shipment. There are many departments that utilize forklifts.
Requirements
- Must have previous forklift experience
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Lumber experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Use pedals to go forward and backwards as well as be able to navigate a warehouse.
- Use hydraulic controls to lift, tilt, and shift product for stacking or movement.
- Unloading trucks and placing product into the warehouse.
- Loading for production.
- Moving product around the warehouse.
- Loading trucks for logistics to ship to customers.
