About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for our afternoon shift. This role involves operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, stand-up forklifts, and walkie stackers, to manage inventory and fulfill orders. The position offers an opportunity for permanent hire after a 90-day evaluation period and includes a full-time schedule with required overtime. The shift runs from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime, including Saturdays. Safety is paramount in this role, and employees are required to wear safety shoes.
Requirements
- 6 months previous forklift experience
- Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs
- Safety shoes required
Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
- Perform case and full pallet picking
- Stow product
- Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
- Follow all safety guidelines
