About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks related to material handling, routine maintenance, safety compliance, documentation, and teamwork. The operator will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, moving items within the work area, and contributing to a clean and organized environment. A key aspect of the job is ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and protocols. Additionally, the role requires recording important data, identifying and reporting machine malfunctions, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude: Understanding basic mechanical concepts and the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
• Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials
• Moving materials/pallets into the work area
• Assisting in keeping all areas clean and organized
• Moving materials and products around the work area, using equipment like forklifts or hand trucks
• Helping with basic machine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and keeping a maintenance log
• Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Recording machine data, machine malfunctions, and maintenance activities
• Collaborating with other team members, communicating effectively with supervisors, and participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives
