About The Position

Threads Uniform Agency is seeking a dependable, team-player to join their team as a Forklift Operator. This role will be focused on receiving shipments and safe machine operations. Threads is a client-centric producer of uniforms and has outfitted over one million members of our nation's workforce.

Requirements

Physically lift up-to (50 lbs.) fifty pounds at once or lesser amounts more frequently throughout the day.
Stand, walk, bend, and reach above the shoulders frequently throughout the shift daily.
High school diploma or GED.
Forklift certification.

Background checks will include: Social Security Verification: validates the applicant's Social Security number, date of birth and former addresses.
Criminal History: includes review of criminal convictions and probation.
The following factors will be considered for applicants with a criminal history: The nature of the crime and its relationship to the position. The time since the conviction. The number (if more than one) of convictions. Whether hiring, transferring or promoting the applicant would pose an unreasonable risk to the business, its employees or its customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

Unload and sort inbound shipments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Report quality variances.
Perform picking duties in bulk storage areas in an efficient manner that meets company standards.
Pull and supply stock for replenishment of picking bins.
Pull and prepare pallets for LTL shipment.
Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods to load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or rolling dock cart as needed.
Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Inspect the forklift or other equipment and immediately report any issues.
Maintain accuracy of records to ensure inventory control is maintained.
Assist in daily cycle counting as well as physical inventories.
Conduct forklift operations in a safe manner at all times and in compliance with OSHA and Company Standards.
