About The Position

The Forklift Operator works in a fast-paced production environment and is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of corrugated paper materials throughout the facility. The role supports production flow by staging materials for production lines, transferring finished goods to warehouse locations, and maintaining organized storage while meeting safety and quality standards. The position is on 1st shift and requires operation of a sit-down forklift.

Requirements

Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in the corrugated industry.
Proven forklift operating proficiency with a strong emphasis on safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support effective teamwork.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Availability to work overtime as needed, up to 12 hours and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

Follow safety protocols; perform and document pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within production and warehouse areas.
Manage material flow to production lines and stage materials accurately and on time to support uninterrupted operations.
Scan and transfer finished goods to designated warehouse locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
Stack and organize materials to maximize warehouse space and prevent damage.
Collaborate with material handlers and warehouse personnel to meet operational objectives.
Protect the integrity of materials and finished goods during handling and transport.
