Requirements

Operate a forklift
Reach Truck
Operate Electric and manual jacks
Know and understand the company’s GMP and SQF Policies
Knowledge of FIFO and FEFO warehousing methods
Be able to use handheld scanners
High School Graduate or G.E.D. and/or minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
Good common sense
Good reading and math skills
Must be in good physical shape with high stamina and dexterity
Able to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to climb various types of ladders
Good hand dexterity with both hands
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to bend and stoop easily
Excellent eye sight with very good peripheral vision
Able to work long hours when necessary; work overtime when it is needed
Able to withstand extreme warehouse and outside temperatures of cold and heat

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks; put away and rotate stock both raw materials and finished goods; Handle transfers, loading and unloading transfer trailers; stock production prep areas; cycle counts for inventory control; maintain clean and organized equipment and warehouse.
Receive raw material
Unload finished product from the manufacturing plant and rotate the product according to the proper procedures
Pull customer orders with 100% accuracy and on time delivery
Load out-going orders / transfers
Assure all loads are secure prior to their leaving warehouse
Transfer raw material as necessary between warehouses
Stock palletizer and remove finished goods for transfer
Load Transfer Trailers
Cycle counts daily
Maintain proper paperwork
Stock label room with trays /cardboard
Stock production prep areas with raw materials as needed --- (get frozen products from trailers and freezer; produce room cooler and other raw material from south warehouse.)

Assist in Production as needed
Keep warehouse clean and organized
Empty trash and cardboard bailer
Backup to other warehouse personnel as needed
Responsible to be educated and knowledgeable in safety rules and regulations and to work safely 100% of the time; manage, promote safety for all other employees in their duties
