Forklift Operator (Night Shift)

SUMMARY – Forklift Operator Shift: Sunday to Thursday 23:00-07:00 (Night Shift) TransX has an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join our Dock team in the Edmonton Terminal. We are looking for an individual that is strong, active, and possesses a solid work ethic. Our Mission is to become the industry leader of the driver experience. Requirements
- Forklift certificate, WHMIS, TDG certifications
- Must have completed high school or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in a cross dock/fast-paced warehouse machine operator role
- Forklift experience in a cross dock or WHSE
- Experience stacking different types of materials, including boxes, pallets, bins, etc.
- Experience working with frozen and refrigerated freight
- Positive attitude and personality, courteous manner, and flexibility
- High-attention to detail
- Consistently reliable and dependable
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Safety-first work style
Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading containers and trailers
- Organizing the warehouse
- Using a forklift
- Other general labor duties such as stacking, wrapping and warehouse cleaning
