About The Position

ALPLA is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. This role is responsible for various warehouse and shipping duties, including preparing finished product for shipment, ensuring accuracy in counting and damage checks, and maintaining good housekeeping within the warehouse. The position also emphasizes adherence to all safety practices, including forklift and dock door safety checklists, proper PPE usage, and communicating any unsafe conditions. Performance will be measured by metrics such as accident rates, inventory accuracy, and on-time deliveries.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing or distribution preferred
Experience with Fork Lift/Clamp Truck machinery preferred
Safety awareness and quality consciousness

Responsibilities

Truck Drivers check-in.
Part of customer service to ensure shipping on time
Preparing finished product to ship to customer
Adheres to performance standards in quality and quantity (Checking for damages as well as count)
Following warehouse and shipping procedures
Accurately records and stores finished goods in the warehouse
Accurately handles and records all corrugated products from receipt to storage and then to production
Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse
Ensure adherence to all safety practice like but not limited to: Forklift and dock doors safety check lists.
Ensure usage of proper PPE
Communicate any unsafe conditions or behavior.
Adherence to golden safety rules.
