About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all product and materials are loaded, unloaded, and processed through the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner using a motor-powered forklift. Team members will be fully re-trained and certified on forklift during orientation. Tyson Foods prioritizes safety, and all Team Members are expected to practice safety standards, policies, and procedures. As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, we provide all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and Boot Reimbursement after completing your probationary period.

Requirements

Must be willing to stand for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours per day).
May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
Must be willing to adhere to a production performance percentage measurement.
Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening.
Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 90 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit.
Composite toe preferred for boots.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all product and materials are loaded, unloaded, and processed through the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner using a motor-powered forklift.
Receiving product accurately into the building using a Powered Industrial Truck.
Pulling product that has been received and putting it into the racking. May be required to palletize or split pallets.
Pulling pallets from racking to replenish pick faces.
Pulling product either in single or full palletized form to fill and build customer orders.
Loading trucks with product in an efficient manner that will avoid product damage or loss.
