About The Position

The position is responsible for manifesting, loading trailers, doing inventory and lot checks for all warehouse locations in both plants. The position is also responsible for Material Handling and Receiving. This job is fast-paced and requires repetitive motion, constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand-up lifts). Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Willingness to work in a cold and wet environment
Willingness to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be able to train for and pass forklift license training
Good hand and eye coordination
Willingness to stand throughout 8–10-hour shifts
Must be able to work overtime and weekends (facility may run up to 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday)
Willingness to accept and carry through on requests and directions
Must be able to pass an MVR (Motor vehicle report)
Willingness to walk/stand for the duration of the shift
Willing to read bills of lading, write and communicate with supervisor via e-mail
Willingness to perform basic math to assure proper cases per load are being shipped and make work related computations pertaining to shipping orders
Bending, twisting, turning
Willingness to read, follow and understand the loading procedures
6 months Forklift experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers)
Able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
