About The Position
Staffworks is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a warehouse team in Greene, NY. This is a temporary position with the potential to be considered for regular full-time employment based on performance and business needs. The role involves operating a forklift for a significant portion of the workday and performing various stocking duties. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and utilizing internal computer systems for inventory control.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months of forklift/lift truck experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift for 50% or more of the workday
- Performing a variety of stocking duties typically including but not limited to: picking, marshaling, sorting, packing, stacking, loading and labeling.
- Keeping accurate records of all transactions.
- Utilizing internal computer systems for inventory control and accuracy; including completing cycle counts.
- You'll be the go-to warehouse partner for a variety of internal customers.
- Collaborating with multiple departments to resolve routine issues.
