About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock and materials between areas in a warehouse. The role involves loading and unloading shipments of various sizes using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The position is for the first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at $21.35 per hour.

Requirements

Six months of forklift operation experience.
Forklift operator certificate, or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
Computer literacy.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, stock, and stage products and materials.
Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
Maintain records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Verify load accuracy, count, stability, and product condition; report variances as necessary.
Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Assist with physical inventories.
Complete daily equipment inspections.
Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
