About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. Operators load and unload shipments of varying sizes and may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The role involves operating power equipment for 80% of the specified shift, as well as standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling for up to nine hours per day and handling loads up to 75 pounds safely.

The position is on the second shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Pay is $21.00 per hour, plus a $1.00-per-hour shift differential.

Requirements

• At least six months of forklift operation experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
