About The Position

Join our team as a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator and keep operations moving with safe, efficient material handling that helps us deliver for our customers! This full-time, benefitted role offers a steady, non-rotating Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and reports to the Facility Manager. Occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime may be needed. Requirements

Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities, as needed.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork.
Ability to operate technology equipment including Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners to manage inventory.
Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handled.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

Lift truck experience; loading and unloading trailers, containers, and railcars is a plus.
Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus.
Experience operating lift truck attachments such as forks, carton clamp, roll grab, and pulp clamp.
Experience operating sit-down lift.

Responsibilities

Safely inspect, unload, and put away product from inbound trailers, containers, and railcars via lift truck.
Operate a lift truck to pick orders and load product onto trailers, containers, and railcars.
Utilize all material handling technology to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate inventory.
Ensure all safety and position standard operating procedures are followed.
