About The Position

National Fulfillment Services, located at 1490 Southern Road, Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced Forklift and Heavy Machine Operator to join our team! This role is essential in achieving service levels for our customers, including safety, productivity, and accuracy. The position involves fulfilling customer orders and safely delivering products to the staging area, requiring communication and collaboration with other team members for proper material movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities include handling products for various operations such as receiving, order picking & packing, shipping, and inventory control, utilizing material handling equipment and RF technology.

Requirements

Experienced Forklift and Heavy Machine Operator
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Organized and have strong attention to detail.
Able to adapt to change and easily adopt new processes required to meet changing business needs.
Committed to quality of work.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customer orders and safely deliver products to the staging area.
Communicate and work with other team members to ensure proper movement of materials throughout the warehouse.
Handle products for various operations processes, including receiving, order picking & packing, shipping, and inventory control.
Use material handling equipment and Radio Frequency (RF technology).
Palletize products.
Operate a reach truck, forklift and cherry picker.
Ensure orders are processed in accordance with customer service standards.
Transport all products and materials.
Verify products, quantities, and order numbers correctly.
Move freight safely throughout the warehouse.
Stack products throughout warehouse as needed.
Stage pallets at shipping dock.
Transport products safely through the warehouse.
Execute all tasks following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent work methods are used.
Participate in inventory activities, including physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
Move empty pallets depositing them at the designated pallet holding location.
Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free from obstructions with all debris placed in proper containers or designated areas.
Operate equipment and complete tasks consistent with Company Health and Safety Policies.
Demonstrate respect for the organization's values.
Other duties as assigned.
